Beautiful glassy conditions for a sunset kayak we did on the west coast of San Juan Island. No orcas but we did see a couple of harbor seals, one of them a baby, and a few harbor porpoises in the distance. My favorite from this group of hill-climb photos. The action, as I noted in the other photos, is amazing. These photos are from the collection of a member of the <a href="http://www.oaklandmc.org/history.html">Oakland Motorcycle Club</a>. The collection included some clippings showing that the hill-climb event was September 28, 1924 on Peralta Hill. These hill-climb photos are action-packed and make a remarkable grouping from this collection. This old photo looks pretty good in the larger sizes.
